Official Launch of Alamanda Putrajaya (Putrajaya’s first shopping complex) by The Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Concept / Strategy
The unique concept of "The Sense of Scent" was coined likening it to the scent of the flower (Alamanda from which the complex was named) that draws the people to it. For the ceremonial act the Prime Minister locked in the final petal to signify the complex opening.
Main components
A Cirque du Soleil style production (The Balagan Troupe) were flown in from the USA to entertain the crowd.
Live performances by leading local Diva’s
A fashion extravaganza by a leading Malaysian designer
A themed grand sit down dinner for the invited guests.
Technologies
High end projection & Laser systems were used to color wash the complex in multi colors and designs.
Special effects
Pyrotechnics and special effects to enhance the launch.
Production crew
120 pax including the Balagan Troupe from USA.
Targeted audience
Residents of Putrajaya (Malaysia’s New Administrative Capital) and surrounding Local Town Councils.
The event was attended by approximately 100,000 pax and Media representatives.
